Rep. Ron Paul

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will speak Monday, March 5, at 3 p.m. at the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center at the University of Idaho.

This will be Paul’s second visit to Moscow in less than three weeks; he spoke Feb. 17 to a standing-room only crowd at the SUB Ballroom. Paul, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas, will speak earlier Monday in Sandpoint in his quest for delegates to be chosen in Idaho’s Republican caucuses on Super Tuesday, March 6.

JAMM 327 students may cover his rally for extra credit. The story will be due Friday, March 9. Learn more about Ron Paul’s political philosophy and campaign by reading a background briefing in The New York Times as well as an interesting blog post about Paul’s long-term strategy in The New Yorker.
